Hunter remembers when the Bookmobile came to her neighborhood at the young age of four. She fell in love with books and has been developing little stories since she was seven. She knew she was a writer at an early age and finally decided to make her writing public. 

A native of Massachusetts and a graduate of Lesley University, Hunter holds a Master's degree in Childhood and Adolescent Development.  Hunter now resides in North Carolina, where she writes and conducts reading and writing workshops, inspiring young ones to foster a passion for reading.
